Global electronics mega-corporation Huawei produces a somewhat limited residential inverter offering. Depending on one’s perspective, there is either beauty in such simplicity or limitations depending on the circumstance.

As of 2020 two main Huawei inverter variants exist to accommodate your residential solar requirements; the single-phase SUN2000L and the three-phase SUN2000-M0. Unlike alternative solar inverter manufacturers, the 2 Huawei variants feature HV DC-coupled battery compatibility (selected brands) as standard making each inverter a solar and energy storage inverter in one (hybrid).

Despite such an innovative design, the absence of an emergency power supply (EPS) function would leave many end-users somewhat disappointed in the hybrid inverter.
