review.solar publishes sourced, methodology-driven reviews of solar panels and home batteries. Every score is produced by the Solar Analytica methodology, a deterministic, transparent scoring engine.

review.solar and the Solar Analytica methodology are owned and operated by Solar Analytica Pty Ltd, an independent publisher. No manufacturer, advertiser or retailer has any say over a score. Reviews are produced by a published, deterministic methodology, not by commercial relationships.

How we stay impartial

Every product is scored by the same public rules, from the same sourced data. There is no human thumb on the scale, and no manufacturer, advertiser or retailer can change a result. The full methodology is published so anyone can check our working.

No pay-to-rank, ever

Manufacturers cannot pay to appear, to lift a score, or to remove a finding. Money never touches the scoring.

How we make money

review.solar is funded by paid advertising. In future we may also earn a referral fee when a reader connects with an installer through our links. Neither advertising nor any referral arrangement influences a score, and any such arrangements are disclosed where they appear.

Sources, corrections & right of reply

Every score traces to a published source. Manufacturers may submit data or corrections, and we update them. If you spot an error, tell us.
