70 of 80 Australian approval events resolve to exact product identities.

The reviewed Australian source release contains 80 approval events. 70 pass the publication's exact-identity gate; 10 remain visible as source events without inheriting a review.solar product claim. The distinction matters because an approval record, an identity match and a quality assessment answer three different questions.

Approval answers a narrower question than a product review

An approval event records a change in the source register. It may show that a model was added, that a recorded expiry moved or that a listing expired. It does not show that the product is better, safer, more reliable, available to buy, appropriate for a particular site or recommended by review.solar. The published methodology keeps approval evidence outside the global product score, while the Approval Watch register preserves the source change on its own terms.

What changed in the source

3 event types make up the current reviewed release

  1. 01
    42 added

The source register recorded a new row. This is not a product endorsement or a count of newly reviewed products.

  2. 02
    35 expiry changed

The source changed a recorded expiry. Approval Watch preserves the change without treating it as a score movement.

  3. 03
    3 expired

The source recorded an expiry. The event remains distinct from product quality, warranty and installation history.

Event-type counts total 80 and are calculated from the current vendored release. A single exact product can carry more than one event.

Identity is the gate between a register row and a product history

A linked event has passed an exact validated tuple: jurisdiction, product category, manufacturer and model. In this release, 70 events resolve to 13 exact review.solar product records. The numbers differ because one product record can carry several source events. A family name, brand resemblance or near-match is not enough.

Linked means the event can appear in an exact product history. Unresolved means review.solar has not accepted an exact product identity for the row. It does not mean the source row is invalid or the technology is inferior.

Unresolved is a protective state, not a negative verdict

The 10 unresolved rows remain in Approval Watch because the source event is real, but they do not appear as facts about a review.solar scorecard. That boundary prevents a specialist configuration, unfamiliar naming structure or incomplete identity from being forced into the nearest catalogue record. Readers can inspect the public evidence queue and submit exact documentation without the benchmark guessing first.

Use the register, then return to the relevant product class

Start with Approval Watch when the question is what changed in the Australian source record. Use the Australian panel, inverter and battery lists when the question is how exact products compare under their own scoring classes. The Australian market evidence register explains the separate buyer-ready evidence gate.
