review.solar and the Solar Analytica methodology are owned and operated by Solar Analytica Pty Ltd (ACN 653 738 115), a privately held Australian company. The publication is global; Australia is the first market receiving a deeper local evidence layer.
Money never touches the scoring
Manufacturers cannot pay to appear, lift a score or remove a finding. Advertisers, retailers and installers have no say over a result. Each product is assessed under the same published rules, with evidence states and source links exposed for scrutiny.
The benchmark is currently self-funded. It carries no advertising, sells no leads, earns no affiliate fees and takes no payment from manufacturers, retailers or installers. Any future revenue model will be disclosed here before it is introduced and will remain separate from scoring.
Who writes and maintains it
Authored interpretation carries an individual byline. Deterministic outputs and recurring publication work carry accountable desk bylines: Solar Analytica Research, The Signals Desk, Solar Analytica Data, and Methodology & Standards. A desk byline identifies the publishing function; the scoring engine, not an individual opinion, produces a score.

Readers and manufacturers may submit better sources, corrections or a right of reply. Verified corrections are published with a dated note rather than silently changed. A right of reply is open to every brand and is never conditional on a commercial relationship.

How are solar products scored?
Each included solar panel, home battery and inverter is scored out of 100 by the published, deterministic Solar Analytica methodology, using sourced data. There is no human thumb on the scale, and the full methodology is published so anyone can check the working.
