Two dates, two different meanings
DPP Registry operational
The Commission states that the registry stores unique product identifiers and registration metadata. Complete passport data remains decentralised with the responsible economic operator or service provider.
Battery passport requirement applies
Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 applies the electronic passport requirement to each LMT battery, each industrial battery above 2 kWh and each electric vehicle battery placed on the market or put into service.
