How the program works
A structured evidence channel
Lodge a primary document, identify the exact product fact it supports, name the page or section, and scope it to a market. Every claim remains linked to its source through editorial review.
What doesn't change
Every score is still produced by the same public, deterministic methodology from sourced data. A partner account is a structured lodgement channel, not an edit button: nothing a partner submits changes a live score until it has been reviewed and published by our team.
Who this is for
Manufacturer and brand representatives for solar panels, home batteries, inverters or plug-in ESS products, at a company email domain rather than a personal address.
The rules a submission is reviewed against are public: see how scoring works and our disclosure and inclusion policy. Coverage currently spans 5 product categories.
Frequently asked
Can a partner change their own score through the portal?
No. Every score is produced by review.solar's published, deterministic methodology from sourced data - that does not change. A partner submission is reviewed against the methodology and published if accepted; it does not let a manufacturer edit their own number directly.
Does the program cost anything?
No. Early access is free, and no fee affects a score, a ranking, or whether a product is listed. review.solar does not offer paid placement of any kind.
Can a company pay for faster evidence review?
No. Review order is based on safety, factual risk, evidence freshness, buyer relevance and whether the submission is complete. Payment and commercial relationships are not queue factors.
Who can apply?
Manufacturers and brand representatives for solar panels, home batteries, inverters or plug-in ESS products already or soon to be covered by review.solar. Applications need a work email at your company's own domain, not a personal email address.
Is the partner portal live yet?
Yes. Access is invite-only. Apply with a company email and the editorial team will verify the organisation before opening an account.
