- Kyocera builds Enerezza around its own semi-solid clay-type lithium-ion battery and, by its own research as of 2 October 2019, calls it the world's first system with a built-in clay-type lithium-ion battery; the name glosses in English as a single-function storage system.
- Kyocera lists suggested retail prices for three models (5.5, 11.0 and 16.5 kWh) and states they are Japanese domestic specification that cannot be used outside Japan.
- The listed battery capacities are not usable figures: Kyocera notes real-use capacity is net of losses and gives initial effective capacity of 4.7, 9.4 and 14.1 kWh measured to JIS C4413.
- It cannot be scored yet: round-trip efficiency, cycle count and IP rating remain unestablished, and the stated 15-year equipment and capacity warranty has no retention percentage. Exact historical certification evidence has been recovered, but current grid-interconnection certification listing remains unresolved.
- The world-first claim is Kyocera's own finding, not an independent rating, and this record is not joined to any scored or evidence record.
- JET’s cancelled-registration list dated 25 August 2026, physical page 544, identifies registration MB-0023 for Kyocera, inverter SBS-300 and exact Enerezza systems EGS-LM0550, EGS-LM1100 and EGS-LM1650. It records first registration on 25 November 2019 and a printed validity end of 22 February 2026. This is historical grid-interconnection protection and inverter registration evidence; it does not establish current approval.
- The same exact entry is in the cancelled-registration list. Neither of the two current active-list sort orders reviewed supplied an exact model entry. A current exact renewal or replacement registration is therefore still needed. The cancelled entry does not state a cancellation date or reason; it does not establish a safety recall or a finding that the battery is unsafe.
- ECHONET’s GZ-000810 listing, updated 19 March 2024, identifies EGS-LM0550, EGS-LM1100 and EGS-LM1650 with software version 11.0.0 or later, under Appendix Release K / P.0. This establishes software-qualified ECHONET Lite communications conformity, not current grid approval, battery fire certification, a public API or a firmware-support policy.
- These findings apply to the named Japanese Enerezza systems and their stated registration scope. Enerezza Plus EGS-LM0570, EGS-LM1140 and EGS-LM1710 entries are separate and cannot renew these models by association. No overseas-market approval or comprehensive battery safety-test result is established by these registrations.
