Legacy record. Meyer Burger manufactured the Glass family at Freiberg, where module production closed in the first quarter of 2024. Its later US module operation also shut, German production companies entered insolvency proceedings, and US module-production equipment was sold. The record remains available for installed-product and warranty-history research. Source. Worth knowing. Meyer Burger's German operations entered insolvency in 2025 and its US manufacturing assets were sold. Bankruptcy was opened over Meyer Burger (Switzerland) AG on 23 June 2026 and the entity is now in liquidation. No public warranty-servicing arrangement was located in this review.
