AIKO warrants the Neostar 2P+54 dual-glass module against defects in materials and manufacturing workmanship for 25 years from commencement: the earlier of 30 days after delivery to the end customer or 90 days after factory shipment. Australia and New Zealand specific; the dual-glass construction carries the same term as the mono-glass variant.
Linear performance warranty: 30 years
Guaranteed output: at least 98% of rated Pmax at end of year 1, declining no more than 0.35% per year: minimum 90.6% of nameplate Pmax at year 25 and 88.85% at year 30. Verified under Standard Test Conditions per IEC 60904-9 (2020), measurement tolerance +/-3%.
What’s covered
Defects in materials and workmanship
Covers manufacturing defects and material faults that cause failure within rated specification. Remedy: at AIKO's discretion: is repair, replacement, or proportional credit. Replacements may be of equivalent or greater output.
Power output shortfall
Where measured STC output falls below the performance schedule thresholds, AIKO supplies additional or replacement modules to cover the shortfall, or a proportional credit at its option.
Exclusions
Labour and installation costs: The warranty does not cover removal of defective modules or reinstallation of replacements. These costs are borne by the system owner or installer.
External physical damage: Damage from external causes: impact, hail, storm, fire, flood, lightning: is excluded; glass breakage from external causes specifically so. Dual-glass panels carry glass front and rear: rear glass damage from external causes is likewise excluded.
Improper installation or maintenance: Coverage is void if modules are installed or operated contrary to AIKO's installation manual or Australian standard AS/NZS 5033. Installation must be by a CEC-accredited installer.
Cosmetic degradation and normal wear: Changes in appearance including minor discolouration and gradual output reduction within guaranteed limits are not covered as defects.
Unauthorised modifications: Warranty is voided by any modification, repair, or intervention on the module undertaken without AIKO's prior written authorisation.
Transferability
Transferable to a subsequent owner on sale of the property, provided AIKO is notified and original proof of purchase and installation documentation is supplied.
