Warranty period
10-year product warranty: battery modules and power module
Battery modules (all X1 capacity variants) and the power module are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for ten years from installation. For battery modules, the warranty ends at ten years or the cumulative discharge throughput limit for the module size, whichever occurs first. Limits range from 14 MWh (5 kWh module) to 84 MWh (30 kWh module), about 2.8 MWh per kWh of rated capacity.
10-year capacity retention guarantee
Each battery module is guaranteed to retain at least 70% of initial rated capacity over the ten-year term, subject to the cumulative throughput limits above; a module falling below 70% before either threshold is eligible for warranty service. The guarantee applies to battery modules only: the power module warranty is time-bound with no separate capacity condition.
10-year warranty: Power Dock Pro (single- and three-phase)
Power Dock Pro units: single- and three-phase: are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for ten years from installation, time-based with no throughput component.
5-year warranty: WLAN and mobile dongles
The WLAN dongle and mobile dongle accessories are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for five years from the date of installation.
2-year warranty: power sensors
Power sensors supplied with the system carry a two-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the installation date.
What’s covered
Defects in materials and workmanship
Covers manufacturing defects and failures in materials or workmanship across all covered components during their respective warranty periods. Anker will, at its discretion, repair, supply replacement parts, or provide a refurbished equivalent.
Australian Consumer Law statutory rights
The policy expressly does not limit, exclude, or replace rights under the Australian Consumer Law: consumers retain all statutory guarantees of acceptable quality and fitness for purpose independently of this warranty.
Exclusions
Labour and reinstallation costs: Dismantling, installation, transportation, and on-site troubleshooting costs are explicitly excluded: the warranty covers the product, not removal or reinstallation.
Non-certified installer workmanship: Defects or damage attributable to installation by a person who is not a certified or Anker-authorised installer are not covered.
Unauthorised modification or disassembly: Any product that has been modified, opened, or disassembled without Anker's written authorisation will have its warranty voided.
Third-party component damage: Damage caused by incompatible or non-approved third-party components connected to the system is excluded.
Use outside documented specifications: Operation outside the environmental or electrical specifications documented by Anker voids warranty coverage.
Corrosion, rust, and cosmetic wear: Ordinary wear, cosmetic defects, corrosion, and rust are excluded: the X1 carries a C5-M corrosion class rating, but corrosion-related failures are not covered.
Natural disasters and abnormal environmental conditions: Damage resulting from natural disasters, floods, lightning, fire, or other abnormal environmental events is excluded from warranty coverage.
Use outside country of original purchase: The warranty is voided if the product is taken outside the country in which it was originally purchased.
Transferability
The warranty applies only in the country of original purchase and contains no provision for transfer to a subsequent property owner. It is not transferable.
How to make a claim
Contact Anker SOLIX support at support@ankersolix.com with a description of the defect, the product serial number, and the purchase receipt or warranty certificate. Anker assesses eligibility and, at its discretion, provides replacement parts or a refurbished unit. Statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law are unaffected.
