How to claim
Lodge claims through Enphase's online support portal or an authorised distributor, with proof of purchase, serial number, and installation date. Full summary, conditions and sources: page 2.
Enphase warrants the IQ8HC against defects in materials and workmanship for 25 years from original installation, not purchase. Where no confirmed installation date exists, Enphase may use the manufacture date plus six months as a proxy.
What’s covered
Defects in materials and workmanship
At its sole discretion, Enphase repairs or replaces units defective under normal operating conditions. Replacements may be new or refurbished and carry the remaining original term, not a fresh 25 years.
Labour
Covers the product unit only. Removal, reinstallation, and associated electrical labour remain the customer's responsibility.
Exclusions
Physical damage: Damage from accident, misuse, abuse, or improper handling is excluded.
Installation: Damage resulting from installation not carried out in accordance with Enphase's published installation instructions is excluded.
Acts of God: Lightning strikes, floods, earthquakes, fire, and other external environmental causes are excluded.
Modification: Any alteration or modification by a party other than Enphase voids the warranty on the affected unit.
Normal wear: Gradual performance degradation within specified tolerances is not a covered defect.
Transferability
Transfers automatically to subsequent owners of the installation property, no re-registration or notification required. Does not follow the original purchaser to a new property.
How to make a claim
Lodge claims through Enphase's online support portal or an authorised distributor, with proof of purchase, serial number, and installation date. Enphase targets replacement dispatch within five business days of approval and covers replacement shipping; return of the defective unit may be required.
