Growatt chooses repair, onsite repair or an equivalent-value replacement based on model and age. Repair or replacement retains the remaining original warranty period. During the latter five years, the instrument also allows pro-rata buyback or newer technology at a price payable by the customer. Australian Consumer Law guarantees are expressly preserved.

How to make a claim
Start with the original installer or the manufacturer's Australian support channel. Growatt-platform monitoring of the battery and charge/discharge device is required; the instrument reduces cover to three years without monitoring. Installation must finish within six months of Growatt delivery. Notify the supplier within 14 days of problem signs and submit the claim form within one month of failure, with original warranty card, purchase/installation invoices and signed commissioning report. Accumulated-discharge evidence is required for performance claims; an unmonitored claim requires qualified onsite inspection/data collection.
