What’s covered
Manufacturer remedy
Hoymiles may exchange an eligible unit for the same type or an equivalent or superior replacement. If Hoymiles chooses authorised on-site repair, it covers materials, labour and removal and replacement of the affected part or device.
Labour
The policy is expressly a product-replacement warranty. Installation, commissioning and ordinary installer labour are excluded unless Hoymiles elects and authorises on-site repair.
Freight
For an approved exchange, Hoymiles ships the replacement to the specified customer or installer location and covers collection and return freight where return is required. Other transport and access costs remain excluded.
Removal and reinstallation
Ordinary removal of the faulty inverter and installation or recommissioning of the replacement are excluded. They are covered only where Hoymiles itself elects authorised on-site repair.
Exclusions

Freight: For an approved exchange, Hoymiles ships the replacement to the specified customer or installer location and covers collection and return freight where return is required. Other transport and access costs remain excluded.
Removal and reinstallation: Ordinary removal of the faulty inverter and installation or recommissioning of the replacement are excluded. They are covered only where Hoymiles itself elects authorised on-site repair.
Transferability
Transfer is allowed only while the product remains at its original installation location, with previous-owner authorisation sent to Hoymiles.
How to make a claim
Start with the original installer or the manufacturer's Australian support channel. The end user contacts the installer first. A claim requires product model, serial number, failure code and comment, original invoice, system details, prior claim records where applicable and an RMA.
