The current Australian manufacturer terms provide a 10-year product warranty, subject to the registration, use and claim conditions shown below.
What’s covered
Manufacturer remedy
Hoymiles chooses same-type or equivalent/superior replacement, or authorised onsite repair covering materials, labour and affected-part/device removal and replacement. Section 2 describes six-month replacement cover when less than six months remains, but also states remainder-only cover; that interaction needs clarification. Australian Consumer Law guarantees are expressly preserved.
Labour
The policy is expressly a product-replacement warranty. Installation, commissioning and ordinary installer labour are excluded unless Hoymiles elects and authorises on-site repair.
Freight
For an approved exchange, Hoymiles covers replacement delivery and requested faulty-unit return freight. The customer or installer must assist and reuse replacement packaging. Required returns are due within 25 working days of receiving the replacement; late or missing units may trigger invoicing to the installer/distributor. Applicable tax and other transport/access costs remain excluded.
Removal and reinstallation
Ordinary removal of the faulty inverter and installation or recommissioning of the replacement are excluded. They are covered only where Hoymiles itself elects authorised on-site repair.

Transferability
Transfer is allowed only while the product remains at its original installation location, with previous-owner authorisation sent to Hoymiles.
How to make a claim
Start with the original installer or the manufacturer's Australian support channel. Cover starts at installation or four months after Hoymiles shipment, whichever is earlier. Contact the installer first; claims require model, serial number, failure details, original invoice, system information, prior claims where applicable and an RMA. A non-defective or ineligible return may incur AUD 100 per unit plus shipping and packaging. Extension applications must be made within three years of purchase with proof of purchase and serial number.
