Warranty period
10-year product warranty
Covers defects in materials and workmanship for 10 years from installation. Remedy: repair or replacement of defective units or components at LG Energy Solution's discretion. Applies to the battery module and associated power conversion electronics supplied with the system.
Capacity retention guarantee
Guarantees usable capacity will not fall below 60% of rated nominal capacity (15.5 kWh: approximately 9.3 kWh minimum) within the 10-year period under normal operating conditions; below that, LG Energy Solution repairs or replaces the affected module. Subject to operation within specified temperature, charge rate and cycle parameters.

Defects in materials and workmanship
Covers defects in materials and workmanship in the battery modules, integrated battery management system (BMS) and factory-fitted electrical connections. Remedy: repair or replacement at LG Energy Solution's discretion: replacements carry the remainder of the original term.
Battery management system (BMS)
The integrated BMS carries the same 10-year warranty as the battery modules. BMS hardware faults not caused by installer error or external electrical events are remedied under warranty.
Exclusions
Labour: removal and reinstallation: Labour to remove the battery system or reinstall a replacement is not covered: borne by the system owner or their installer.
Installation errors: Excludes damage or premature degradation from incorrect installation, including non-compliance with LG Energy Solution's installation requirements or Australian Standards.
Physical damage and external events: Physical damage from impact, flooding, fire, lightning, power surges, vermin, or other external causes is not covered under the product warranty.
Normal capacity degradation within guarantee threshold: Capacity fade above the 60% retention threshold is normal ageing, not a warranty defect: only usable capacity below the guaranteed minimum triggers a claim.
Operation outside specified parameters: Void if operated outside the specified temperature range or maximum charge/discharge rates, or connected to an incompatible inverter not on the compatibility register.
Cosmetic defects: Excludes scratches, discolouration, or other cosmetic damage not affecting functional performance.
Transferability
Transferable to a subsequent property owner provided LG Energy Solution is notified of the ownership change within a reasonable period. The term continues from the original installation date, no reset on transfer.
How to make a claim
Initiate Australian claims through the original installing retailer or LG Energy Solution's Australian service team, with proof of purchase, installation date, installer details and a fault description. On-site BMS diagnostic data may be requested before a replacement is authorised. LG Energy Solution (an LG Chem subsidiary) is a substantial, actively operating manufacturer; fulfilment risk is considered normal.
