Warranty period
15-year product warranty
LONGi warrants the Hi-MO X10 Explorer LR7-54HVH 490M against material and workmanship defects for 15 years from sale to the end user, repairing or replacing: at its discretion: modules failing from a covered manufacturing defect. Remedy is parts only; removal, reinstallation, and labour are not covered.
30-year linear performance warranty
A 30-year linear performance warranty guarantees output above defined thresholds: maximum first-year degradation 1.0%, annual degradation thereafter no greater than 0.35%, and output at or above 88.85% of nameplate rated power at the end of the 30-year term.
What’s covered
Materials and workmanship defects
Covers defects attributable to manufacturing processes or materials: cell defects, junction box failure, frame corrosion, delamination from production quality issues. LONGi's obligation is to supply a replacement or, at its election, repair the unit.
Linear performance degradation
Where measured output falls below the warranted linear schedule at any point in the 30-year term: verified under standard test conditions: LONGi makes up the deficit with additional or replacement modules of equivalent rated power.
Exclusions
Labour and reinstallation: Removal of defective modules and reinstallation of replacements are expressly excluded: the claimant bears all labour and access costs.
Physical damage and improper installation: Damage from improper installation, mounting, wiring, or handling inconsistent with LONGi's guidelines is excluded, as is damage from external events: hail beyond rated specification, flooding, fire, lightning, acts of God.
Unauthorised modifications: Modification, repair, or alteration by parties not authorised by LONGi, or use outside rated specifications, voids the warranty.
Normal soiling and weathering: Performance losses attributable to soiling, dust accumulation, shading, or normal environmental weathering are not covered under the performance warranty.
Transferability
LONGi's standard terms disclose no transfer mechanism: the warranty stays with the original purchaser and does not pass to a subsequent owner or third party.
