Warranty period
Product term: 10 years
SBR096 through SBR256 are covered for 120 months from installation or 126 months from manufacture, whichever occurs first.
Performance by application
Daily self-consumption and backup use receives 70% retention with unlimited cycles. Other applications use the throughput table; SBR096 is limited to 26.88 MWh.
What’s covered
Parts, standard freight and service rebate
For a covered defect, Sungrow supplies replacement parts or an equivalent new or refurbished battery via standard freight and provides its standard service rebate toward repair labour.
Australian claim channel
Claims run through the installer and Sungrow's Australian online warranty portal, with local importer contact details published in the contract.
Exclusions
Original purchaser only: The standard warranty expressly states that it is not transferable.
Monitoring and data: The system must be monitored in iSolarCloud and complete log data must be available for the full performance assessment.
Temperature profile: Performance cover depends on annual temperature limits, including fewer than 90 days between 35 C and 40 C and fewer than 30 days above 40 C.
Installation, transport and external damage: Improper storage, transport, installation, incompatible equipment, external events, unauthorised repair and unapproved relocation are excluded.
Transferability
Not transferable. The V9.0 Australian terms provide the standard warranty only to the original purchaser/end user.
How to make a claim
The end user contacts the installer for preliminary troubleshooting, then an online claim is lodged with logs, proof of purchase and commissioning details. Standard transport is capped at AUD 200 and the service rebate remains subject to the current Sungrow schedule.
