Warranty coverage: 10-year term
Coverage includes
Parts only · term longer than 24 of 95 scored inverters
No inverter in the fleet publishes a year-by-year performance or output guarantee the way panels and batteries do - this shows the covered term against the market-typical term and where every scored inverter’s term lands (grey dots, sized by model count), plus what the warranty actually includes.

Global benchmark. This scorecard is benchmarked globally. A global score does not imply local availability, certification, warranty coverage, or installer compatibility.
Benchmark anchor. The score uses the 30 kW highest model in the exact Australian family. Scored model: X3-ULT-30K · checked 2026-08-02. Evidence.

Strong evidence coverage
24 of 24 scored criteria link directly to a published source.
Values marked estimated, derived, or not found remain visible on the audit sheet and do not carry the same evidential weight as a linked source. Coverage measures direct links, not an independent guarantee that a claim is correct.

AU Warranty scope
- Before
- SolaX Australia's current warranty page lists 10 years for the exact X3-ULT Australian family.
- After
- AU V1.6 expressly lists X3-ULT-30K with 10 years from installation, capped at 129 months from manufacture. It applies to products sold and installed from 1 February 2025; earlier products need their applicable prior instrument. The NSW PDRS installation-date exception requires scheme and accredited-provider approval. The warranty table lists 15KP/15K/19.9K/20K/25K/30K; it does not establish cover for 20KP.
AU Warranty conditions
- Current text
- labour: The policy permits on-site repair but does not promise an unlimited owner entitlement to third-party site labour.; registration: AU V1.6 requires authorised supply, installation, commissioning, activation and SolaXCloud warranty registration with invoice, serial number and contact details as soon as possible after commissioning. Claims use the distributor or installer first, with SolaX escalation; provide model, serial, installation and failure dates, fault evidence and purchase or commissioning proof. Obtain prior consent and RMA before exchange. The policy states both one month and four weeks for failure notice, and both six weeks and 30 days for return of replaced equipment; the deadlines need clarification, and the longer period is not assumed.; remedy: At SolaX's choice: software or configuration correction, repair at its premises or on site, or a new or equivalent repaired, refurbished or upgraded replacement. Prior consent and RMA are required before exchange. Invalid or non-defective claims can incur labour, travel, delivery and replacement charges. A technical substitute can leave adaptation costs with the owner. The battery-section minimum-one-year replacement term is not established for this inverter. Australian Consumer Law rights remain additional; uncapped owner-selected labour and removal/reinstallation are not promised.; removal reinstallation: Full removal and reinstallation cost is not stated as an unconditional entitlement.; transferability: No automatic subsequent-owner transfer right was found in the governing terms.; transport: Normal ground transport is covered in specified Australian areas up to AUD 200 per case; excess cost remains with the claimant.

AU Support Note
- Current text
- The public AU product page writes the 25 kW variant as X3-ULT-25KP, while the current AU datasheet, warranty page and approved list use X3-ULT-25K. This record follows the datasheet and approval identity and does not merge the two labels silently. Scoped warranty review 6 October 2026: V1.6 names the scored X3-ULT-30K but omits the adjacent 20KP code. Neither 20KP coverage nor a 25KP/25K alias is assumed; approval and broader market-review dates remain unchanged.

Summary
- Current text
- EV charging requires a separate compatible SolaX Smart EV Charger and metering/communication setup. The exact manuals establish scheduled charging and Timer Boost, plus native solar-surplus charging in the charger's Solar scene. OCPP uses a separate scene; simultaneous OCPP and native solar-surplus operation is not established. Green mode at the default 3 A threshold may draw grid power to meet the 6 A charging minimum; the 6 A setting avoids that grid contribution. Boost charging may import electricity. Zero-export operation requires wired communication with the inverter, and lost communication limits surplus charging. Battery discharge to the charger is separately configurable. No bidirectional charging is established. Confirm accessory and firmware applicability for the installed equipment. Home Assistant integration is community maintained and requires compatible local Modbus communications plus inverter and adapter firmware. Supported serial-prefix variants and transport setup must match the installed unit; support does not guarantee every control or parallel-system operation. This is not native SolaX smart-home or MQTT support.
