Warranty period

Standard product warranty

A 10-year product warranty runs from installation or 12 months from manufacture, whichever occurs first, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions. The standard period is consistent across all H3-Pro variants regardless of rated output.

Extended warranty option

An optional paid extension takes coverage beyond 10 years: typically to 15 or 20, and must generally be purchased within a defined period after installation. Pricing and availability are set by the local authorised distributor or FoxESS directly.

What’s covered

Defects in materials and workmanship

Covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship: component failures, PCB faults, internal hardware defects: that stop the inverter operating or push it outside published specifications under normal installation and operating conditions.

Repair or replacement

Remedy at FoxESS's discretion: repair, replacement parts, or replacement of the complete inverter. Remanufactured or functionally equivalent components may be used in any repair.

Exclusions

Physical damage: Damage caused by physical impact, improper handling, flooding, lightning strike, or environmental contamination is excluded from warranty coverage.

Improper installation: Excludes damage from installation not complying with FoxESS guidelines or AS/NZS wiring standards, or performed by an unqualified person.

Unauthorised modification or repair: Modification, opening, or attempted repair by anyone other than FoxESS or an authorised service partner voids the warranty.

Grid and supply anomalies: Damage attributable to grid surges, overvoltage events, or power supply conditions outside the inverter's rated input tolerances is not covered.

Consumables and wear items: Fans and other wear items degrading through normal use are generally covered only for a shorter period specified in the warranty documentation.

Labour and transport costs: Removal, reinstallation and freight costs for a warranty repair or replacement are not covered: borne by the owner or installing contractor.

Transferability

Generally non-transferable: attaches to the original purchaser or end-user at the installation site. Ownership transfer does not automatically pass the remaining period; confirm with FoxESS or the local distributor at any property sale.
