Labour and reinstallation costs: Labour for removal or reinstallation is not covered. Technician callout, access fees, and on-site labour charges fall entirely to the system owner or their installer.
Return freight costs: Customers bear the cost of returning the inverter to Solis Australasia or a Ginlong-designated service location. Given hybrid inverters' size and weight, this can be a material expense, particularly far from an authorised service agent.
Transit damage: Loss or damage occurring whilst the product is in transit: either to or from the service location: is excluded from warranty coverage.
Improper installation or unauthorised modification: Damage from installation contrary to Solis instructions, or from unauthorised repair, modification, or tampering, voids the warranty for the affected fault.
Force majeure and external causes: Force majeure damage: lightning strikes, power surges, extreme weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, pest ingress, acts of war: is excluded, as is damage from third-party actions outside Ginlong's reasonable control.
Consequential and economic loss: Consequential losses: lost revenue, lost feed-in tariff income, and other indirect or economic loss: are excluded, subject to the ACL guarantees noted above.
Consumable and wearing parts: Fuses and other components that are subject to normal wear and degradation in service are not covered under the warranty.
Ancillary installation items: Items ancillary to installation not supplied by Ginlong: cabling, isolators, mounting hardware, or third-party monitoring accessories: are outside the warranty's scope.
