Warranty period
Inverter term: 120 months
IS-HYB-5000-1PH and IS-HYB-6000-1PH are expressly listed. The term starts at installation or 180 days after iStore shipment, whichever is earlier.
Promotional extensions are separate
Any promotional extension follows its own flyer and may be parts-only even where the product page uses a broader parts-and-labour headline.
What’s covered
Defective hardware
iStore states that covered inverter hardware will be free from defects in material, fabrication and workmanship and provides replacement hardware for accepted claims.
Return postage
iStore covers postage for return of the defective unit after an accepted replacement, provided the return deadline and packaging requirements are met.
Exclusions
Full labour is not contractual: The contract offers a discretionary AUD 150 installer rebate rather than guaranteeing the owner's full removal and reinstallation cost.
Licensed and trained installer: Installation and replacement must be completed by an appropriately licensed installer who has completed iStore service training.
Installation and maintenance: Incorrect installation, insufficient ventilation, lack of maintenance, missed software updates and enclosure modification are excluded.
External and transport damage: Force majeure, lightning, surges, vermin, customer infrastructure faults and pre-claim transport or storage damage are excluded.
Transferability
No property-owner transfer process is stated in the March 2026 terms. A subsequent owner should confirm the registered product and remaining cover with iStore.
How to make a claim
Submit an RMA with proof of purchase and product details. Accepted inverter replacements are targeted for shipment within 10 business days, with the faulty device returned within 15 business days.
