What’s covered
Materials, fabrication and workmanship
iStore states that covered battery hardware will be free from defects in material, fabrication and workmanship during the applicable period.
Replacement hardware and return postage
After an accepted RMA, iStore provides replacement hardware and covers postage for return of the defective device within the stated return window.
Exclusions
Monitoring and installation timing: The battery must remain connected to iStore monitoring and be installed within 31 days after purchase.
Delayed fault reporting or prolonged inactivity: Battery faults must be reported within two weeks; cell damage from prolonged periods without charging or cycling is excluded.
Installation, maintenance and modification: Unlicensed work, failure to follow the manual, insufficient ventilation, missed maintenance, software non-compliance and enclosure alteration are excluded.
Installer rebate is discretionary: The published AUD 150 replacement rebate is paid only to verified installers or retailers and remains at iStore's discretion, so full labour cover is not guaranteed to the owner.
Transferability
The published Australian terms do not state a property-owner transfer process. A subsequent owner should ask iStore to confirm the remaining cover in writing.
How to make a claim
Submit an RMA through iStore support with proof of purchase and product details. Accepted battery hardware is targeted for shipment within 20 days, and the defective unit must be returned in the replacement packaging within 15 business days.
