Warranty period
Product warranty
Jinko Solar warrants the Tiger Neo III 66QL6-BDV against material and workmanship defects for 25 years from original installation. Remedy: at Jinko Solar's discretion: is repair, replacement, or refund of the original purchase price. The period does not restart on replacement.
Linear power performance warranty
Power output is separately warranted for 30 years on a linear schedule: at least 99.0% of rated minimum peak power in year one, declining no more than 0.40% per year, with a floor of 87.4% at end of year 30. Claims require on-site measurement per Jinko Solar's flash-test or independent testing protocols.
What’s covered
Defects in materials and workmanship
Covers manufacturing defects: frame deformation, junction box failure, delamination, cell cracking from manufacturing fault, glass breakage from internal stress rather than external impact. Module as supplied only; ancillary components such as mounting hardware or third-party wiring excluded.
Performance degradation beyond warranted limits
Where measured output falls below the warranted threshold for a given year: verified under IEC 61215 or an agreed independent laboratory procedure: Jinko Solar provides a replacement module, pro-rated refund, or additional modules for the shortfall, at its election.
Exclusions
Physical damage from external causes: Damage from hail, storm, lightning, flood, fire, accident, vandalism, or other external physical forces is excluded: as are scratches, soiling, and cosmetic deterioration not affecting electrical performance.
Improper installation or use: Void if installed contrary to Jinko Solar's installation manual, used outside rated electrical and mechanical parameters, connected in a configuration the datasheet does not permit, or modified after leaving the factory.
Third-party workmanship: Damage or failures from installation errors, incorrect wiring, incompatible mounting systems, or service work by parties not authorised by Jinko Solar are not covered.
Labour, freight and ancillary costs: Covers the module itself only: removal, shipping to and from the service centre, reinstallation, scaffolding, access equipment, and consequential losses are excluded. Australian Consumer Law may impose separate, broader obligations on the retailer.
Normal power degradation within warranted limits: Gradual output decline within the stated linear degradation parameters is normal, not a defect under either the product or performance warranty.
Transferability
Transfers automatically to subsequent property or system owners for the remainder of the original period. No transfer registration is required, though documentary evidence of the original installation date may be needed for a claim.
How to make a claim
Submit claims to Jinko Solar or its authorised Australian distributor with proof of purchase, module serial number, defect description, and photographic or test documentation: promptly upon discovery. In Australia, the supplying retailer or installer is typically the first contact and must, under Australian Consumer Law, assist with the claim rather than redirect the customer to the manufacturer.
