The Rev 5.8 warranty exceptions (item 16, page 3) state that the GoodWe Standard Limited Warranty may not apply if GoodWe cannot perform a remote firmware upgrade because the customer has not provided the SEMS connection or access to a third-party monitoring upgrade path.; remedy: GoodWe may update configuration or software, repair with spare parts, or exchange with a new, refurbished or functionally equivalent product.; removal reinstallation: No unconditional owner-selected removal and reinstallation entitlement is published.; transferability: No express subsequent-owner transfer right was found in the governing terms.; transport: Ground transport is conditional and capped by an unpublished per-case limit; the additional five-year period excludes shipments.

Affected owners must not remove the AC plug. The regulator instructs them to switch off the adjacent INVERTER A.C. ISOLATOR, if installed, and the MAIN SWITCH (INVERTER SUPPLY) on the switchboard, then contact the GoodWe Recall Team on 1300 508 449 or support@goodwerecall.com.au to arrange permanent connector securement. GoodWe describes a free onsite connector-clip remedy; repair of some units does not establish remediation of every affected unit. Safety instructions rechecked 4 October 2026; this does not refresh the separate approval or warranty review.
