Year 1 to year 25, at 30°C and 1000 W/m². Rated 520 W at STC.

How this is modelled

Compounds this panel’s own published first-year (1%) and annual (0.3%/yr) degradation figures against its 520 W rated (STC) output, then derates for the ambient and irradiance selected. Output is scaled roughly linearly with irradiance (1000W/m² against the 1000 W/m² STC reference). This is the dominant real-world effect at low light, whether from cloud, shading or soiling. Output is then further derated for heat, from this panel’s own NOCT (44°C) and temperature coefficient (-0.24%/°C), giving an estimated cell temperature of 60°C at that ambient and irradiance. A datasheet-derived estimate, not a field measurement or a warranty guarantee: it does not account for this panel’s own low-light efficiency response (a separate, less-consistently-published spec), or for wind and system design. See NOCT and temperature coefficient in the glossary.

    Covered6 sources

Australian warranty scope: Covered by Huasun's Limited Warranty for Heterojunction Photovoltaic Modules Ver.3.0, which names this exact model in Table 1 and provides a 15-year product term and a 30-year power term. Two limits are material to an Australian buyer. Ver.3.0 is valid solely for modules sold under purchase agreements signed on or after 1 January 2026, and it carries no Australian Consumer Law statement and names no Australian importer. The Australia-region instrument that does carry an ACL clause and names Prosun Solar Distribution and AZ Energy as importers is Version 1.7, and its own clause 13 limits it to modules delivered between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2025. Huasun has not reissued an Australia-specific instrument for 2026 deliveries, so a module bought new today is governed by the global document. Ver.3.0 also ceases to apply if a module is transferred or resold outside the country or region stipulated in its delivery contract.

Strong evidence coverage

17 of 17 scored criteria link directly to a published source.

Values marked estimated, derived, or not found remain visible on the audit sheet and do not carry the same evidential weight as a linked source. Coverage measures direct links, not an independent guarantee that a claim is correct.

Record correction. Built 2026-08-17 from Huasun's current exact datasheet 2.0_20251224_D, retrieved and text-extracted locally. The revision matters: the datasheet reached from Huasun's product page is a superseded V1.0_2024_10 file, and the current sheets are only served from the CMS listing. Between those revisions the 96-cell weight moved 21.8 to 21.6 kg, the 108-cell weight 27.4 to 27.1 kg, and the operating range narrowed from -40~+85 C to -40~+70 C. The sheet ladder spans 505-530 W; the retained Australian range is 505-520 W because the CER export checked 2026-08-12 lists HSN-210R-S108DSB only across 500-520 W, expiring 2027-10-22. Re-verification 2026-08-18: PID and ammonia resistance recorded from the Clean Energy Council enhanced listing for exact model HSN-210R-S108DSB520, matched on exact model identity rather than brand or series. Salt mist is also enhanced-listed for this model but the rubric bands salt mist by severity and the regulator publishes none, so it remains unset. Re-verification 2026-08-18: salt mist recorded as certified without published severity from the Clean Energy Council enhanced listing for exact model HSN-210R-S108DSB520, under panel rubric v2.11.0 which added that band.
