- The Australian SunPower site has a Performance 7 page, and its document library lists a Performance 7 DC Black 440-460 W datasheet (552404 REV F, April 2026). That datasheet names SPR-P7-xxx-BLK-1500 and a 1500 V maximum system voltage and does not name SPR-P7-455-BLK, so current Australian availability of the plain BLK suffix is not publicly established; this does not show it is discontinued. The BLK and BLK-1500 identities remain separate. Warranty claims are administered by SunPower Corporation Australia Pty Ltd (techsupport.australia@sunpowerglobal.com, 1800 786 769). The Performance 7 web page states that removal, shipping and installation are included in Australia and New Zealand, which the current warranty documents do not state.

- Two current Australian warranty documents name SPR-P7-xxx-BLK in their warranty tables. For modules sold before 1 January 2026 (the updated issue of document 544362 REV E), the product and power terms are 30 years if the modules are digitally registered within 6 months of the Warranty Start Date, otherwise 25 years. For modules sold on or after 1 January 2026 (the warranty effective 1 January 2026), the terms are 30 years and registration is not required. Guaranteed power is 99% of minimum peak power in year one, reduced by 0.4 percentage points at the start of each later year, reaching 87.4% in year 30; for unregistered modules sold before 1 January 2026 the final figure is 89.4% in year 25. Both documents state that TCL Zhonghuan Energy Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. is the warranty provider from 1 January 2026, with claims administered by SunPower Corporation Australia Pty Ltd.

Section 5.3(c) of both states that the Manufacturer and TCL SunPower are not liable for loss or damage arising from installation, removal or reinstallation, except where the Australian Consumer Law does not allow that exclusion. The August 2024 Maxeon issue of document 544362 REV E stated that Maxeon would pay removal and reinstallation costs for modules originally installed in Australia by Maxeon, an affiliate or an authorised partner, up to AUD 375 for up to five modules and AUD 75 per module thereafter; the current documents do not say whether that clause still applies to earlier sales.; registration: For modules sold before 1 January 2026, section 1 requires digital registration within 6 months of the Warranty Start Date for the 30-year terms, otherwise the terms are 25 years. For modules sold on or after 1 January 2026, section 1 states registration is not required.; remedy: Under section 2 of both current documents, SunPower Corporation Australia Pty Ltd (TCL SunPower) will repair, replace or refund the covered modules for a validated claim, with the choice at its sole discretion subject to applicable law. Replacement modules may be refurbished or remanufactured, will be electrically and mechanically compatible and will have a substantially equal or greater power rating. The refund value is the original purchase price for the first five years of the warranty term, then depreciates linearly by 3.85% a year for 30-year terms; for a power warranty claim, that value is multiplied by the difference between the guaranteed and measured peak power percentages.; removal reinstallation: No removal and reinstallation condition is stated in the current Australian warranty documents (the updated issue of 544362 REV E for modules sold before 1 January 2026, and the warranty effective 1 January 2026); a capped, conditional payment appears only in the August 2024 Maxeon issue of 544362 REV E.; transferability: Section 3(j) of both current documents allows assignment to a third party with notice within 90 days and reasonable documentation. For modules sold before 1 January 2026 the later owner must also complete digital registration; for modules sold on or after 1 January 2026 no registration by the later owner is stated.; transport: Reasonable customary transport to and from the original delivery place is covered for an accepted remedy.
