- Meyer Burger manufactured the Glass family at Freiberg, where module production closed in the first quarter of 2024. Its later US module operation also shut and production equipment was sold during insolvency proceedings. On 12 March 2026 Swift Solar acquired Meyer Burger's heterojunction (HJT) patent portfolio, manufacturing assets and personnel. The reviewed sources describe an asset and intellectual-property purchase and do not state that any warranty obligation to existing module owners transferred; readers encountering that acquisition headline should not read it as a restoration of warranty backing. No current Australian channel or applicable Australian warranty was established; retain this as an installed-product legacy record.
