AU Warranty scope

- The exact datasheet publishes a five-year factory warranty with optional extensions. Remaining installed-unit coverage is serial-specific and must be checked with SMA Australia.

- The exact datasheet (status 02/2021) publishes a five-year factory guarantee, with 10, 15 and 20 years marked optional. SMA Australia states, as read on 6 October 2026, that the 5+5 warranty program and extended warranty purchases are no longer available in Australia. SMA's current Limited Factory Warranty (document code COM-RES-GB-en-88, for new devices bought after 20 May 2026) does not list STP 25000TL-30 in its warranty period table, so its terms are not applied to this model. Remaining installed-unit coverage is serial-specific and must be checked with SMA Australia.

Its exact manual documents Modbus remote measurement, parameter and setpoint functions, disabled by default. SMA/SunSpec Modbus access requires configuration and protected networking. Sunny Portal monitoring and Smart Connected are separate cloud services; Smart Connected requires a permanent portal connection. No fixed firmware-support end date or exact cloud API/REST/certification join is established.
