    AU Warranty scope

    Current text
    FoxESS Australia's inverter warranty policy names KH7, KH8, KH9, KH9.9, KH10 and KH10.5 and provides 120 months from installation, capped at 132 months from manufacture, whichever comes first (Version 4.0, 1 April 2026, clause iii). That is the version listed on FoxESS Australia's downloads page on 7 October 2026. Service and transport rebates are conditional (clause v). Version 3.4 (1 October 2024) also required annual inspection by an authorised technician from the sixth year; Version 4.0 states no annual-inspection condition. Neither document states which version applies to a given installation.

    labour: The warranty does not establish an uncapped owner-selected labour entitlement; approved service is subject to FoxESS processes and limits.; registration: Version 4.0 (1 April 2026) no longer contains the registration clause that Version 3.4 carried as clause viii. Its FoxPlus clause refers to registration on the FoxESS website within 36 months of manufacture and cites section 8, which in Version 4.0 is the claim process. The claim process (clause viii) requires the installer to supply the model, fault code, fault details and an RMA form with evidence.; remedy: FoxESS may repair or replace an approved defective product under the governing terms.; removal reinstallation: No uncapped removal and reinstallation entitlement was established in the governing terms.; transferability: No express subsequent-owner transfer right was found in the governing Australian inverter warranty.; transport: Transport support is subject to the governing claim process and exclusions; no uncapped transport entitlement is stated.

It does not state that PV recharges the battery during an outage.
