20 kW benchmark; lower-model and revision limits. This listing scores GW20K-SDT-AU30 at 20 kW using the accepted 5-20 kW Australian sheet, which publishes 20000 W. The current manual also names that exact model. The larger range now marketed on the Australian page does not extend this listing to 25 or 29.9 kW. Current maker documents name the lower models GW5000, GW6000, GW8000 and GW9990-SDT-AU30. The older GW5K, GW6K, GW8K and GW9.999K labels carried in this record have not been validated as aliases. In particular, the original GW9990 column is 9990 W, or 9.99 kW; 9.999 kW would be 9999 W. The March 2026 sheet and manual print entries such as 20 beneath W or VA headings, unlike the original 20000 W table. Those conflicting units are not used to replace the benchmark. The newer sheet describes fanless cooling on its first page but smart fan cooling in its technical table. Its headline and the product page describe Type II surge protection as optional, while the table lists Type II protection. These conflicts do not establish fanless operation or the protection fitted to an individual unit. The existing scored cooling and protection bands are retained pending exact model and revision evidence. Confirm the supplied model, revision and accessories against their governing documents; the alias and revision questions remain open. The current AU/NZ warranty names SDT G3 for five years of limited cover. Its separate five-year spare-parts extension names other families and does not establish that extension for SDT G3. A ten-year promotion has manufacture, installation, registration and SEMS-connection conditions. GoodWe may arrange paid on-site service or a discretionary authorised rebate; this does not promise unconditional owner-selected labour or removal and reinstallation. The retained assurance assessment does not mean that Australian conditional labour or capped ground freight is absent. The supplied unit’s governing agreement controls, and current terms do not cancel any older contractual entitlement. The 98.3% weighted-efficiency value is the European efficiency printed on the accepted 5-20 kW sheet and the current manual, and neither prints a CEC weighted efficiency for GW20K-SDT-AU30. The Q(U) label in the reactive-power entry is not printed in the accepted sheet, the current manual or certificate AZ 69028473, which print a power factor adjustable from 0.8 leading to 0.8 lagging. The accepted sheet lists remote shutdown as optional, while the current manual and the March 2026 sheet list it as integrated. The current manual also states that the remote shutdown function is disabled by default and is enabled through the SolarGo app, and that the arc detection function is optional and disabled by default; the exact phrase software-activatable is not printed in the sources read. 18 of 18 scored criteria link directly to a published source.

Values marked estimated, derived, or not found remain visible on the audit sheet and do not carry the same evidential weight as a linked source. Coverage measures direct links, not an independent guarantee that a claim is correct.

How the evidence puzzle works

Record correction. GoodWe SDT G3 Australian datasheet, 5-20 kW Bounded 6 October 2026 reader reconciliation: accepted original 5-20 kW AU V2.1 sheet retains exact GW20K-SDT-AU30 / 20000 W benchmark. Current AU PDP, 19 March 2026 enlarged-range AU V2.1 sheet and manual V2.4 dated 25 March 2026 establish documented lower-model labels and unresolved alias/revision, printed power-unit, cooling and SPD headline/table boundaries. No model alias rewrite, 25/29.9 kW expansion, source supersession, criterion/score, approval, market/warranty or full-record verification-date change. Bounded 6 October 2026 warranty evidence correction: current AU/NZ Rev 5.9 dated 17 September 2026 replaces stale criterion prose and old SBP-G2 locator that claimed an unnamed spare-parts extension. Five-year numeric input and global Parts only band remain unchanged; conditional AU labour/freight is explained, and global assurance applicability remains held. Supplied-unit/older-agreement rights, markets, identity, technical criteria and full-record dates are preserved.

    Current text
The SDT G3 family has no United States counterpart part. No SDT code appears in GoodWe's United States download centre or on the California Energy Commission inverter list, and the AU30 suffix on these model codes is itself an Australian market designation. GoodWe's United States commercial grid-tied range on its download centre is LVSMT-US at 22 and 28 kW on 208 to 240 V and SMT-US at 50 and 60 kW on 480 V, neither of which is a 400 V 5 to 20 kW string family. GoodWe publishes no separate United States legal entity: the US site imprint names GoodWe Technologies Co., Ltd. of Suzhou, China, with a US contact office at 201 E Pine St #910, Orlando, FL 32801, sales +1 925-304-3430 and service +1 888-418-0775, and a named US distributor list on its Where to Buy page. The California Energy Commission inverter export lists the manufacturer as GoodWe Technologies Co., Ltd., the name printed on the US imprint.

GoodWe Technologies Co., Ltd. Rev 5.9, dated 17 September 2026, names SDT G3 for five years of AU/NZ limited cover. The period starts at first installation or 12 months after production, whichever is earlier. The ten-year all-on-grid promotion requires manufacture after 1 July 2020 and installation, registration and SEMS connection after 1 January 2021. The separate five-year spare-parts extension names DNS, DNS G3, MS and MS G3; it does not name SDT G3. AU Warranty conditions

    Current text
labour: GoodWe may arrange a paid on-site engineer or offer a discretionary service rebate. A rebate requires prior site-visit authorisation, the rebate being claimed by the party performing the service, return and confirmation of a workmanship/material defect, and a claim within two months of authorisation. The amount requires confirmation with GoodWe. This is conditional support, not an unconditional owner-selected labour entitlement; promotional-year scope remains unestablished.; registration: For the ten-year promotion, meet the stated manufacture, installation, registration and SEMS-connection dates. Claim within one month of failure through the supplying distributor or installer, escalating to GoodWe's service-ticket channel if needed. Provide model/serial, installation and failure dates, fault and prior-action details, claimant and site information. Confirm the RMA before exchange and submit its report within one month of the determined solution. The terms also warn that failure to provide a remote firmware-upgrade path can affect warranty coverage; no allowed offline interval is specified.; remedy: At GoodWe's choice: configuration or software correction, spare-parts repair, or a new or refurbished replacement that is at least functionally equivalent. Replacement retains the original remaining term, extended to one year if less remains. Obtain RMA confirmation before exchange. Return the defective product within four weeks after receiving its replacement; a late return or no confirmed damage can result in charges for the replacement, delivery and associated service. Excluded claims may incur handling charges. Australian Consumer Law rights remain additional.; removal reinstallation: Removal and reinstallation are not an unconditional entitlement.; transferability: No subsequent-owner transfer right was found in the governing terms.; transport: Normal inbound and outbound ground freight is covered up to GoodWe's per-case rate, which must be confirmed. Excess charges and other transport methods are the claimant's responsibility. Return packaging and the four-week return deadline apply; non-return or no confirmed defect can trigger replacement, delivery and service charges. Promotional-year freight scope remains unestablished.
