- The exact "Sunny Tripower Smart Energy 10.0" (STP10.0-3SE-40) is a European/international product and does not appear on SMA America's site. It is three-phase (220/380V, 230/400V or 240/415V, 50 Hz); structurally incompatible with US split-phase 60Hz residential service. SMA America's actual US hybrid-inverter line is a different product family, Sunny Boy Smart Energy-US (SBSE-US), sold in 3.8/4.8/5.8/7.7/9.6/11.5 kW sizes; there is no 10.0 kW SKU in the US lineup, and SMA's 3 June 2025 announcement states UL 1741 SB and IEEE 1547-2018 certification for the SBSE-US 9.6 and 11.5 kW models only; the STP10.0-3SE-40 datasheet lists no UL or IEEE 1547 certification. SMA America's Rocklin, CA site is corporate HQ and sales/support, not manufacturing; SMA's 2025 US manufacturing announcement (with Create Energy, Portland, TN) covers utility-scale string inverters, not this residential product.
