Warranty coverage: 10-year term
Coverage includes
Parts only · term longer than 24 of 95 scored inverters
No inverter in the fleet publishes a year-by-year performance or output guarantee the way panels and batteries do - this shows the covered term against the market-typical term and where every scored inverter’s term lands (grey dots, sized by model count), plus what the warranty actually includes.

24 of 24 scored criteria link directly to a published source.
Values marked estimated, derived, or not found remain visible on the audit sheet and do not carry the same evidential weight as a linked source. Coverage measures direct links, not an independent guarantee that a claim is correct.

Rings, outside in: manufacturer claim, certified or regulator-listed, third-party source. The centre is review.solar's own measurement, empty for every product today. Warranty terms and design facts that rest on the maker's own word are counted beside the rings; a reviewed absence, or one that reaches beyond the maker's claim, stays in them. - SolaX Power Network Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. provides Australian Version 1.6 cover, naming X1-Hybrid-3.0/3.7/5.0/6.0/7.5-D G4 for ten years. Standard cover ends at 120 months from installation or 129 months from manufacture, whichever comes first. The stated NSW PDRS exception requires an approved scheme installation and guarantees ten years from installation; it is not a general extension. Version 1.6 applies to units sold and installed from 1 February 2025 through authorised channels with certified installation, commissioning, registration and activation; earlier units retain their applicable previous terms.

- labour: Travel, subsistence, on-site installation, modification and normal maintenance costs are excluded. On-site service requires prior authorisation. The instrument quotes a standard service charge of AUD 150 excluding GST for a confirmed defective product, but does not clearly establish who receives or pays that amount; an unconditional owner-selected labour entitlement is not established.; registration: Register promptly after commissioning with purchase invoice, inverter serial and contact details. Claim through the supplier or installer, escalating to SolaX service if needed; supply fault, installation and failure details, a claim form and purchase or commissioning evidence. Obtain SolaX consent and RMA confirmation before exchange. The document gives both one-month and four-week failure-notice deadlines; the difference remains unresolved. Completely off-grid hybrid installations require annual inspection by a qualified electrician with documented results. Optional paid extensions have their own early-purchase conditions and are not presumed included.; remedy: At SolaX's choice: a software or configuration fix, on-site or off-site repair, or a new, repaired, refurbished or upgraded substitute with at least equivalent functions. Unauthorised exchanges, excluded faults or no confirmed defect can incur labour, travel, delivery and replacement charges. The document gives both six-week and 30-day return limits; no longer period is assumed. The minimum one-year replacement extension appears in the battery section and is not established for this inverter. Costs of adapting other equipment to an improved substitute are excluded. Australian Consumer Law rights remain additional.; removal reinstallation: Removal and reinstallation are not fully covered.; transferability: No subsequent-owner transfer right was found in the governing terms.; transport: In certain Australian areas, normal inbound and outbound ground transport is covered up to AUD 200 per case. The claimant pays excess charges and other transport methods, and must confirm the return schedule and use suitable packaging. Six-week and 30-day return clauses conflict. No confirmed defect can trigger charges for the replacement, delivery and associated service.

Summary

- Not previously recorded
- After
- Home Assistant support is available through the community SolaX Modbus integration. The project explicitly recognises the Gen4 X1-Hybrid 7.5 kW H475 serial-prefix variant. Confirm the installed variant, compatible Modbus communications hardware and inverter/adapter firmware before relying on particular monitoring or control functions. Connection may require a compatible RS485 adapter or supported network dongle and configuration. SolaX describes a Pocket LAN route, with dongle-access and multiple-master limitations; simultaneous EV/EMS communications require system-specific checks. This is community-maintained software; native MQTT, a Shelly suite, a 20-device gateway and universal command or parallel-system compatibility have not been established. The scored reference remains the 7.5 kW model; these communications findings do not broaden Australian approval or change warranty terms.
