The linked installation manual (revision 1 July 2024) states that it applies to IEC certified products and refers to a TUV evaluation to IEC 61215 for mechanical load, without a certificate number. A UL 61730 listing for this model is not publicly established: Yingli's United States quality certification page shows a US UL certification mark without naming any model, and the California Energy Commission PV module list (data unchanged since 1 October 2026) has no entry for this model; the PERC DF72 e/2 models it lists are different products.

The main start rule is the earlier of purchase or one year after production; the footnote separately refers to an agreed contract date/original invoice for direct purchases and a resale/storage grace period capped one year after the recorded factory date. Verify the applicable start against purchase/dispatch records rather than assuming installation starts cover. Claims must be filed within the term, with first-purchase receipt or other reasonable proof. Promptly contact the seller for forms/supporting materials; if the seller no longer exists or cannot be reached, contact Yingli directly. Prior special agreements must be disclosed. No numeric discovery-notice deadline is stated.; remedy: For a covered product defect, Yingli chooses repair/replacement or its defined residual-value refund using current comparable price. For material/workmanship-related power shortfall, it may repair/replace, add modules where installation is feasible, or refund the defined output-gap value using Yingli’s current price per watt and remaining-term factor. These formulas do not promise a full retail refund; no refund amount is calculated without resolving the stated formula and inputs. Repaired, replaced or additional modules keep the original warranty end date.
