A global benchmark answers how an exact product compares on the same scoring basis. It does not prove that the product is supplied in Australia, covered by a local warranty, compatible with a local installation or sufficiently documented for a buyer to act. This reference separates those jobs. Of 108 catalogue records, 87 have a reviewed Australia outcome, 64 are recorded as available and 16 clear the buyer-evidence threshold.
A market-evidence layer, not an Australia-only ranking.
Every product keeps one global score. The Australia register attaches a separate exact-model evidence outcome: available, unavailable, or evidence pending. A product is buyer-ready only where availability is confirmed, criterion-level source coverage reaches at least 50%, and no product-specific safety notice remains unresolved. That is an evidence threshold, not a recommendation, installer approval or regulator register.

The useful comparison is deliberately two-layered. A scorecard lets a reader compare engineering, warranty and evidence on a common global basis. The Australia evidence register asks a narrower question: is this exact model supported by public Australian availability and documentation? The second answer can change while the first does not. A manufacturer may sell a close family member locally but not the exact variant in the benchmark; that is not enough to infer local availability.

Start with the category, then verify the installed system.
Use the panel, battery and inverter lists to narrow a category with the Australia filter on. Then take the precise model, inverter, gateway and installation design to an installer for a local quotation and electrical assessment. A market-evidence pass cannot determine whether a particular site needs an export limit, an essential-load board, a gateway or a different configuration.
The durable rule is simple: do not turn a global score into a local availability claim. Treat the two as complementary pieces of evidence, and revisit the register when a manufacturer publishes a new Australian datasheet, warranty term or exact model number.
